Katja carries Pavel into the tunnel, his screams echoing across the stone and water. The creature's bright purple light and glowing eyes follow them to the tunnel's entrance.

But the creature begins to stop, its talons skidding across the water's surface. It lowers its eyes to the tunnel entrance, looking in.

The creature screams into the tunnel, unwilling to go further.

From another tunnel entrance behind the creature, a number of small figures watch, all clumped together in an indistinct silhouette. One of them speaks.
